What an exciting week this has been! Oddmar, featuring all original music composed by Pär, was awarded one of five coveted Apple Design Awards for best Mobile Video Game of 2018. The motivation of the jury read: “A brilliantly executed platformer! It’s got a ton of personality, great performance, a fun soundtrack, and it’s super addictive!”

Oddmar was finally released on the App Store this week and the initial reception has been overwhelmingly positive! The game was Apple's pick for Game of the Day and it was also given an Editors Choice Award. Touch Arcade gave the game a score of 10/10, Destructoid awarded it 95%, and Pocket Gamer bestowed it with a Gold Award.
The musical score, composed and produced by Pär, has also been given favorable reviews from critics. Michael Jones of Conquest commented on the score by saying "Brilliantly beautiful, whimsical and charming, Oddmar is a pure pleasure to play. The musical score is perfection, voice acting is sublime and the gameplay is spot on", and Cult of Mac referred to the music with the words "Oddmar looks like a Disney cartoon brought to life. Add in some beautifully epic music, and the result is a veritable feast for the senses."
